Setting Logging Parameters

ZMC Logging settings page.

Zilab Remote Console Server maintains one log file to log all server activity.

Main log events:

• Service startup and shutdown
• Service settings update
• User session creation and termination
• User session state change (such as switching to the pending state)
• Tunneling service events

To change log file type new file name (with full path) or use the Change button to select existing file.

Check the Enable session recording button to enable session recording for online monitoring and reviewing of user activity.
If this option is enabled, all user activity stored in separate session log files.
Session logs are placed in the server LOGS directory and has the following file name format:
YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS-SESSIONID-USERNAME.spf
Where the date represents the session start time.

To review recorded session use the Review recorded session button.
In the dialog appeared select session log file and click the Open button.

Note If you finished to change Zilab Remote Console Server's settings, use the Update settings button in order that the changes take place. Zilab Remote Console Server has no settings, which require complete restart of the service.
